Ancestor Deep Dive

Before You Submit

Please read the following carefully. Submitting this form means you have read and understood these terms.

• Eligibility: The ancestor you submit must have been born at least 100 years before the date of your submission. Requests for ancestors born within the last 100 years will not be processed.
• Paid subscription required: This benefit is available to active paid subscribers only. Annual subscribers may submit a request immediately upon subscribing and will be placed in the queue in the order received. Monthly subscribers may submit at any time, but requests from monthly subscribers will not be processed until the subscription has been active and in good standing for 12 consecutive months.
• One request per 12 months: Paid subscribers may submit one Deep Dive request per 12-month period, provided their subscription remains active and in good standing throughout.
• Findings are published publicly: Research results will be shared as a newsletter post available to all readers. By submitting, you consent to your ancestor's information being discussed in a public post. No living individuals will be identified or included.
• Research is subject to the record: We have access to numerous databases and will report on what the records hold. Genealogical research is always subject to what survives. Findings may be limited, inconclusive, or contradicted by other sources. We document what we find and note what remains uncertain.
• Queue order: Requests are worked in the order received, subject to subscription guidelines. There is no guaranteed timeline for completion.
• No living relatives: Deep Dives cover deceased ancestors only. Information about living individuals will not be published under any circumstances.
