Appalachian Genealogy was founded by genealogist Misty Hamilton Smith because of her love of history and genealogy. The result has been a free website providing access to primary source materials, eBooks, yearbooks, manuscripts, and government records (census, birth, death, etc.) to the public.

No login or registration is required to view the information provided on this website. However, it is required that you understand that the information (which comes from various sources and donations) is intended for your personal research only.
